Istudio Logo Research

For my IStudio logo i was thinking about what styles I would go for, then I came across the idea of buildings.

With this i have the idea of making the istudio design look like the studio building. Making the S & O small while it gets inner letters such as T,U and D, I got bigger till the I in the middle is in all caps. The idea will have a 3D look to it, the letters being either one entire building design or being separate buildings placed in unison together.

A reference for this is Louise Bourgeois, she draws many designs with buildings being placed on the bodies of people or being half of people.

the 3D design will look stylistic as i'll add gradient and many different design elements e.g. transform size, spin text around, resize.

Letter Design

To do letter design you must:

Start a new file and use the text tool, tying in a few letters.

I did MAZ, For Mohammed Adeel Zia

* You then want to enlarge it after ore done typing the letters.

* Then you want to expand the letters

* After that you want to go to the width tool

* Then you can choose from the

WIDTH

WARP

TWIRL

PUCKER

BLOAT

SCLLOP

CRTSTALLIZE

WRINKLE

* Using the twirl tool I twirled the letters and ended up with

Pathfinders

First you want to open up Adobe Illustrator and create a new page to do your work on.

* You then want to select the shapes icon.

* You then want to add a circle onto the page

* You then want to increase the stroke of the circle

* Then you want to expand the circle.

* After that you want to copy and paste the circle, changing the colour of it too.
cmd+c = Copy
cmd+v = Paste

*After that you want to join the two circles together like shown below

* The next thing you want to do is change the colour.

* You then want to divide it on the pathfinder tool.

* You then select the smaller first piece and change the colour so it matches the first circle.

* And finally (!) youre done.

Image Trace

The first thing we did was changing the size of the paper to A4, also; we had to make the paper landscape.

Then I had to place the image i wanted, I went to file and then place".

The files you go through are
* Creative Media Courses
* Creative Media Digital Production | Level 2
* Steve_
* Image Tracer Folder

Then that file is selected.

On the tool bar there is a bar named Image Trace

You then Expand

You then use a line of keys. The keys are.
* Option | alt
* Command | cmd
* X

After that you will K. Then you can colour it in.

Sketches

Today we got our sketch books and started doing sketching. For our sketches we did some markings on our first page, on this page we did straight lines which were different in line, size and definition. On the second page we did normal shapes or our imagination. For example I drew a house,  computer and a fan. Using normal objects and drawing them. For my imagination I drew a man drawing his gun, having a western look to him.

Media Synergy

A popular game out there is The Walking Dead story mode, the game revolves around different groups of people and is known as one of the best and most emotionally conveying games of all time. the game can be accessed on Xbox, PS3/4, PC, Small Consoles, and many different game streaming sites. what i like about the game is the characters and how attached you become to them.

A famous book to movie adaption is The Fault in our Stars, the movie is a saddening love story but prevails with its beautiful and compelling love story. the movie can be accessed on, XBOX, PS4, Putlocker, Movie tube.
